I have been wanting to plant a purple clematis in my backyard. While I was doing my Bible reading this morning in the backyard, this flower had poked his head through the fence from the neighbors yard. The Lord put it there for me. I will rejoice in the day that The Lord has made!
Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou has seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name."
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead,
thou shalt be saved."
"For the wages of sin is death;
but the gift of God is eternal life
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
If you are not saved, won't you please ask Him to save you?
What better time than Easter
to know for sure that you have a Heavenly Home?
Jesus loves you and He is pleading with you
to accept Him as your Saviour.
Salvation is a free gift.
There is nothing that we can do to earn salvation except by trusting Him.
If you believe that Jesus is risen from the dead,
All you have to do is pray:
I ask you to forgive me of my sins
and please save me.
If you have asked Jesus to save you,
there is great rejoicing in heaven right now
and your name has been written in the Lamb's Book of Life!
The Bible says in Luke 15:10,
"Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth."
Salvation is so simple it almost seems to good to be true. The Bible tells us that once we are saved we are the children of God and we cannot loose our salvation. You never have to doubt your salvation. There may be times where we still sin because we live in a sinful world but we are still His children. We have been adopted into the family of God and are forever heirs with Christ.
"These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God;
that ye may know that ye have eternal life,
and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God."
These lovely irises captured my attention while I was out walking with Jakob. Irises were my Grandma's favorite flower. My Grandma is up in heaven walking on streets of gold and rejoicing with our precious Savior. Jakob asked me not to long ago if my Grandma was in heaven and I told him that I knew for sure that she was because she had asked Jesus to save her about 10 years before she died. Jakob has already been to five funerals in his short three-year-old life. He then asked me if Leah's Grandpa (Leah is his friend at church) was walking.in heaven. I realized that the last time that Jakob saw him was in a casket and he wanted to make sure that Leah's Grandpa wasn't just sleeping in heaven but that he was up and about and moving and walking. I told him that Leah's Grandpa is up in heaven not just walking but walking on streets of gold! He is praising our Redeemer! The One who loves us and died for us!
"Thine, O LORD is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all."
1 Chronicles 29:11
